Who Do You Think You Are? Live 2012

Your Family Tree reader offer: Get two tickets to WDYTYA? Live 2012 for only £25!

Who Do You Think You Are? Live is now just a few weeks away, and there’s still time to get involved in what promises to be the biggest family history event the country has ever seen, with even more exciting ways to look deeper into your ancestry, whether you’re a seasoned researcher or just starting out on your family history trail.

The show takes place 24-26 February in Olympia, London, and as ever will bring together exhibitors and organisations from the world of genealogy. Most importantly are the family history enthusiasts looking for the latest releases and to break down brick walls with the help of one-to-one sessions and informative workshops from experts. Ask an expert for advice, identify and date mystery photos and investigate the resources of libraries, museums and family history societies from across the UK.

There will be some great new interactive features unveiled at this year’s show along with old favourites like the Military Pavilion and the Society of Genealogists’ Workshop Programme. The Celebrity Theatre will once again play host to stars from BBC1’s television series Who Do Think You Are?. Confirmed celebrities include actors Larry Lamb and Emilia Fox. Both will be taking to the stage at WDYTYA? Live and talking about their experiences on the TV show and their ancestry.

As ever Your Family Tree will be on hand at stand 524 with exclusive subscription deals and gifts, so make sure you pop along. It’d be great to see as many of you as possible, as we’d love to hear what you think about the magazine. We’ve teamed up with WDYTYA? Live to offer a special deal of two tickets for the price, which you can buy by phoning 0844 873 7330 or at www.whodoyouthinkyouarelive.co.uk, and using the code YFT2425. Make the most of this great offer and we’ll see you there. You can also join the Facebook group so you can share your thoughts about the show.
