New records cover Wales and War adds new family history records for the Boer War and Welsh parish registersThe records for Wales cover an extraordinary 8 million entries going back to the 16th century and are an impressive resource for genealogists with family on the West side of the Severn. It’s the first time the records have been available digitally online.

You can also search new military records that cover at the height of its imperial might. These include a register of 59,000 men killed during the Second Anglo-Boer War from 1899-1902, and details of 260,000 servicemen and women who served with the British forces, from soldiers to nurses.
